Crystal pulling method—synthesis principle
The seed crystal is in contact with the molten liquid surface of the raw material, so that the top of the melt is crystallized on the seed crystal in a supercooled state, and the seed crystal rod is pulled up and rotated to grow a cylindrical gem crystal. The pulling speed of corundum is 6-25mm per hour.
Feature:Elongated bubbles or curved ribbons may be seen in the crystals produced by the crystal pulling method.
